As the world of gambling continues to expand with the legalization of sports wagering, we are seeing other sectors and industries adapt along the way. One such industry has been the world of financial services and day trading. The webinar will start with a look at terminology and mechanics of day trading, investing, and gambling. From there, we will discuss the similarities and differences between gambling and day trading. Lastly, we will explore personality traits and connected behaviors between the two.

Instructor Dan Trolaro

Dan Troloro, MA is vice president of Prevention–U.S. at EPIC Risk Management. He holds a degree in finance with a concentration in economics from The College of New Jersey. Dan spent 12 years in investment banking and financial planning. Drawing on lived experience with gambling disorder, Dan later earned a master’s degree in psychology and now educates audiences nationwide on prevention, education, and emerging trends in gambling and gambling-like behaviors.
