This workshop is approved for 1.0 continuing education (CE) hour. To earn CE hours, you will need to 1) participate in the workshop via Zoom and 2) complete brief demographic and satisfaction surveys after the workshop. A certificate of attendance will be made available on the ACORN Student Dashboard upon successful completion of all required activities. Instructor

Instructor Nirmala Dhar

Nirmala Dhar, LCSW is a senior policy analyst and Older Adult Behavioral Health Services Coordinator with the Oregon Health Authority’s Health Systems Division. She serves as project director for the Older Adult Behavioral Health Initiative and Pre-Admission Screening Resident Review Level II (Serious Mental Illness) Coordinator. She has 36 years of public-sector behavioral health experience, including 18 years with Clackamas County Behavioral Health and a decade as a geriatric mental health specialist. Her work is grounded in social justice, equity, disability justice, and anti-oppressive practice, with a focus on cross-sector collaboration for individuals with complex needs.
