OHA ICD Workshop

Live, online workshop about intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) among those with co-occurring disorders. June 18, 2024, 9:00 am - 11:00 am PT. Approved for 1.5 CE hours. Reviews population relevant adaptations for treatment of co-occurring disorders for people affected by intellectual and developmental disabilities, including recommendations for treatment approaches and collaboration with caregivers. Free, courtesy of Oregon Health Authority (OHA) Integrated Co-Occurring Disorders (ICD) Initiative.

Online Workshop

This workshop is approved for 1.5 continuing education (CE) hours. To earn CE hours, you will need to 1) participate in the workshop via Zoom and 2) complete brief demographic and satisfaction surveys after the workshop. A certificate of attendance will be made available on the ACORN Student Dashboard upon successful completion of all required activities. Instructor

Instructor Jessica Leitner

Jessica Leitner, an accomplished behavior consultant and trainer, has spent more than 30 years advocating for adults and families with Developmental Disabilities in the Portland, Oregon area. She is owner of Jessica Leitner Consulting, LLC, a private consulting firm helping caregiving organizations navigate an ever changing set of rules and regulations while maintaining quality care. She served as an Oregon Intervention System (OIS) Trainer and Steering Committee Member and helped bring Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training to local law enforcement agencies in Clackamas County and Portland. Jessica earned a master’s in social work from Portland State University and a BA in Psychology from Oregon State University. Previously, she held positions with Multnomah County, Clackamas County and Edwards Center, Inc.
