OHA ICD Workshop

Live, online workshop about physical health conditions among those with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. June 27, 2024, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm PT. Approved for 1.0 CE hour. Topics include chronic pain, somatization of mental health issues, traumatic brain injuries, mobility issues, and other physical challenges, using an Integrative Wellness Approach. This workshop is approved for 1.0 continuing education (CE) hour. To earn CE hours, you will need to 1) participate in the workshop via Zoom and 2) complete brief demographic and satisfaction surveys after the workshop. A certificate of attendance will be made available on the ACORN Student Dashboard upon successful completion of all required activities. Senior Instructor Layne Prest

Layne A Prest, PhD, LMFT has over 30 years of experience working in primary care settings. Prior to retiring, he served as a faculty member in the University of Washington affiliated Family Medicine residency training program sponsored by the PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, WA. Dr. Prest also provided primary care, team-based, and integrated care to individuals, couples, and families.
