Senior Instructor Layne Prest

Layne A Prest, PhD , LMFT has 30 years of experience working in primary care settings. Currently he is a faculty member in the University of Washington affiliated Family Medicine residency training program sponsored by the PHSW medical system in Vancouver, WA. He is in charge of behavioral health (BH) training for the family medicine residents, as well as the BH internship in which masters level couple and family therapy graduate students are trained in collaborative and integrated care models. In the residency clinic he provides primary care team based and integrated care to individuals, couples, and families. Dr. Prest is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the Society for Teachers of Family Medicine.
