This online training introduces family therapy concepts and reviews some of the risks associated with problem gambling. This includes a higher risk of intimate partner violence, child maltreatment, elder abuse and neglect, financial abuse, and suicide. The course additionally prepared treatment providers to include family members and concerned others in suicide prevention and safety planning; to identify and report suspected child, elder, or vulnerable adult abuse and neglect; and to routinely screen for intimate partner violence. The course features immersive case studies, presentations, readings, research snapshots, handouts, and other resources. You are free to take as much time as you need to review these resources.
